These awards, which are distributed at all 36 home games, are given to the best 3 players of each game as voted by Les Lazaruk of 92.9 The Bull.  Les, who is also the long time play by play announcer of the Blades, is proud to once again be selecting the Inland Steel 3 Star Award at each home game.  The 3 players selected on each night are announced following the end of the game and are presented with a gift on the ice courtesy of Inland Steel

Northridge Development Corporation
New in 2008/09 is the Northridge Developments Player of the Month Award.  Voted by you, the fans, this award will be determined at the end of each calendar month.  The player voted for as the Player of the Month will be rewarded during an on-ice presentation at the first home game following the end of each month.

Momentum and Outtabounds
Momentum and Outtabounds are proud to bring the 2008/09 Momentum Quarterly 3 Star Awards.  During each of the 4 quarters throughout the season the Blades players received 3 star votes during home and road games.  The top 3 players of each quarter are then selected as the winners of the Momentum Quarterly 3 Star Award.  Each player will be awarded with a gift certificate from Momentum and Outtabounds on the ice in pre-game ceremonies scheduled to take place throughout the season
