Protective Netting

For your safety, protective netting is now a permanent fixture in Credit Union Centre during all Blades home games. It is mandatory for all WHL clubs to have protective netting in their arenas. By shielding the ends and corners of the rinks, the WHL and the Blades will increase safety for fans by reducing the number of incidences in which pucks enter the seating areas during warm-ups and games, without unduly interfering with the enjoyment of the game.

Doors Open

The doors to Credit Union Centre will open one hour before the start of each and every home game, unless otherwise noted.

Parking

There is no fee for parking at Credit Union Centre.

Security and Bag Checks

Credit Union Centre has security on duty at all times during all Blades home games. Security has the right to conduct random security checks on any or all bags that are brought into the building. All bags must be small enough to fit underneath your seat during the game.

Food and Beverage

Food or beverages that are purchased outside of the building may not be brought into the building and may be confiscated immediately. There are 8 various concessions where you may purchase food items. These include the Karlo Hospitality Concession, 5 Western Concessions, 1 Nacho Stand and the Schnieders Stand. There are also 5 different outlets to get alcohol, 1 specialty coffee stand and an ice cream booth. There is also the Loft Lounge and the Mezzanine Lounge available for booking a group or team for a function. For each lounge, catering and bartenders are available upon request.

Alcohol

Absolutely no alcoholic bottles, cans or beverage containers may be brought into the building. Alcohol purchased in the building may not be taken outside. Alcohol service on the concourse is discontinued part way through the third period. The Backstage Bar and Grill continues to sell alcoholic beverages throughout the third period. The Blades and Credit Union Centre staff reserve the right to ID customers or refuse the service of alcohol to guests.

Smoking

In accordance with the City of Saskatoon bylaws, Credit Union Centre is a smoke-free building. Smoking is only permitted in designated smoking areas. Designated doors to exit the building for smoking are located at Sections ZZ.

Photography

All cameras, flash devices, video or audio recorders are not permitted for use during any Blades game. Only those with written consent from the Saskatoon Blades or the Western Hockey League are permitted to photograph/record any part of a Saskatoon Blades game.

Air Horns and Laser Pointers

Air horns with sounds produced by human lungs are allowed. Air horns operated with CO2 are allowed within Credit Union Centre as long as they are used appropriately. Laser pointers are also prohibited and may be confiscated. Use of them may be cause for being escorted out of the building.

Throwing Items on Ice

Throwing items on the ice is strictly prohibited. Anyone caught throwing objects onto the ice surface at inappropriate times will be ejected from the building immediately. The throwing of items onto the ice surface may cause serious injury to the players. The throwing of objects can and will lead to a penalty to the home team. The only time fans are permitted to throw items onto the ice is during special promotions run by the Saskatoon Blades.

First Aid Station

The Credit Union Centre first aid station is located behind Section A. The first aid room is in-behind the Karlo Hospitality Concession, next to the elevator & stairway. St. John’s & M.D. Ambulance staff are on duty during every Blades home game. Anyone requiring first aid treatment or medical attention should notify building staff and proceed to the first aid station immediately.

Bank Machines

There are four bank machines for your convenience.  Two are located behind sections F & G, directly next to the front entrance and 2 are located in Section U.

Pay Phones

Credit Union Centre has many locations with pay phones. The various locations are in the main lobby and behind sections B, F, P & U.
