Gillies opened the games scoring at the 15:44 mark of the 1st period and added his second of the game on the power play just 1:07 into the third period; however, goals off the sticks of Terrance Delaronde and Giffen Nyren would send the game to the shootout.

r

In the shootout, Ondrej Fiala and Colton Gillies scored for the Blades while Chris Durand could not solve Warrior netminder Joey Perricone.  Braden Holtby was 0 for 3 against Moose Jaw shooters as Jordan Knackstedt, Riley Holzapfel, and Ty Wishart all scored to make the final score 3-2.

r

The Blades power play finished the night 1 for 5 while their penalty kill was a perfect 5 for 5.  Goaltender Braden Holtby suffered the loss in goal after making 22 saves on 24 shots while Perricone stopped 27 of Saskatoon's 29 shots.

r

Saskatoon will now travel to Regina for a battle with the Pats on Sunday night before returning home to Credit Union Centre on Tuesday to host the Swift Current Broncos.
