Gorgendiere called up to join Blades in Everett

Everett, WA – The Saskatoon Blades have called up 2002 born defenseman Aidan De La Gorgendiere. The 2017 5th overall draft pick joined the team in Everett on Friday morning for practice and is expected to make his WHL debut Saturday night against the Silvertips.

DELAThe 15-year-old Langley, BC, product has 2 goals and 9 assists in 12 games this season with the Yale Hockey Academy of the Midget Prep CSSHL. De La Gorgendiere also had 2 assists in 5 games at the WHL Cup in October where he took home gold with Team British Columbia. He also appeared in 3 pre-season game with the Blades in September notching 2 assists and a +2 rating.
