Maier starts for Canada in gold medal game

Nolan Maier will make his third consecutive start Saturday night as Team Canada takes on Team Sweden for the Gold Medal at the Hlinka Gretzky Cup.

Through four starts in the tournament, Maier boasts an 2.65 GAA, .893SV%, and a perfect 3-0 record.

Blades’ forward, Kirby Dach, will remain on Canada’s top line with Peyton Krebs and Alexis Lafreniere. In four games at the tournament, Dach has 1 goal and 5 assists.

Game time is 7:00pm and can be viewed on TSN-2.
