Tonight – The Saskatoon Blades continue their exhibition schedule as they welcome the Regina Pats to SaskTel Centre. Tickets are $5 each and available at the doors at SaskTel Centre. It’s the first and only meeting of the two rivals in the pre-season. The Blades are a perfect 5-0 while the Pats have went 3-1 through the pre-season.

The roster – The Blades are down to 28 players on the pre-season roster, three of which are still away at NHL Camps; Chase Wouters (Tampa Bay), Eric Florchuk (Washington), Kristian Roykas-Marthinsen (Washington).

That leaves the Blades with 13 available forwards, 9 defensemen, and 3 goaltenders.

The Matchup – Michael Farren leads the Blades in pre-season scoring with 7 points in 4 contests. Import forward Nikita Sedov leads Regina in scoring with 6 points in 4 games.

In goal Koen MacInnes and Dorrin Luding have split the duties in goal so far for the Blades; MacInnes with 3 wins and Luding with 2 in as many starts.

The Pats have used four different goalies in their pre-season, veteran Kyle Dumba and rookie Matthew Pesenti have the best numbers; Pesenti with 2 wins and Dumba with a 31 save shutout victory.
