TRADE: Blades and Rebels make a deal

The Saskatoon Blades have acquired a 2018 4th round draft pick from the Red Deer Rebels in exchange for 18-year-old forward, Lukus MacKenzie.

MacKenzie was selected by the Blades in the 3rd round of the 2014 bantam draft and has since appeared in 121 regular season games in Saskatoon. The Calgary native has 8 goals and 16 assists to go along with 143 penalty minutes in his career. This season, Lukus has 4 assists and 17 penalty minutes in 13 games played.

The Saskatoon Blades would like to thank Lukus for his contributions to our organization both on the ice and in the community.

– 1st
– 2nd
– 4th (via Swift Current)
– 4th (Red Deer via MacKenzie trade)
