TRADE: Blades move Doust to Victoria for draft picks

Saskatoon, SK – The Saskatoon Blades have completed a trade with the Victoria Royals sending 2001 born forward Logan Doust to the island in exchange for a 2020 9th round draft pick and a conditional 5th round draft pick.

Doust was originally drafted by the Blades in the 9th round of the 2016 WHL Bantam Draft. A native of North Vancouver, Doust appeared in four pre-season games this fall and three regular season games last season with Saskatoon. The 17-year-old forward spent last year with the Vancouver North West Giants of the British Columbia Major Midget League where he posted 16 points in 20 games. Through 9 pre-season and 3 regular season games in the WHL, Doust has yet to register a point.

Saskatoon’s pre-season roster now sits at 28 players; 16 forwards, 9 defensemen, and 3 goaltenders.
