Blades Announce 2022-23 Regular Season Home Opener

Saskatoon, SK – The Saskatoon Blades will open the 2022-23 regular season on Saturday, September 24th, hosting the Prince Albert Raiders at SaskTel Centre with a 7:00 p.m. puck drop.

The Blades finished the 2021-22 regular season with a 38-26-3-1 record, which clinched a spot in playoffs. Veteran forward Kyle Crnkovic led the team in scoring with 39 goals and 55 assists, finishing fifth overall in the league.

NHL draft eligible forwards Brandon Lisowsky and Egor Sidorov are expected to return to Blade City next season, along with leading scorer, Kyle Crnkovic. Blades captain, Aidan De La Gorgendiere is also eligible to return to team blue and gold for his final year in the WHL.
