TRADE: Blades & Tigers swing deal

Kennewick, WA – The Saskatoon Blades have acquired a conditional 6th round pick from the Medicine Hat Tigers at the 2021 Western Hockey League Bantam Draft in exchange for 2000-born forward Cyle McNabb.

McNabb, originally from Winnipeg, Manitoba, was acquired by the Blades just days before the 2019 WHL trade deadline from the Kootenay ICE (now Winnipeg ICE). McNabb has since dressed for 39 games with the Blades, scoring eight goals and adding five assists for a total of 13 points. He also played in eight playoff games for Saskatoon during the 2019 WHL Playoffs.

The Blades organization thank Cyle McNabb for his contributions during his time in Saskatoon and wish him well in Medicine Hat.

Saskatoon’s next home game is on December 7th for Girls Rock! Night against the Kelowna Rockets, featuring special guests NASCAR Pinty’s Series Driver Shantel Kalika & the Saskatoon Valkyries of the WWCFL.
