Introducing the Blades’ Motion Fitness Blue Crew! They’re the team responsible for running in-stand activities, games & prizes and as well for scraping the ice and working with Pokecheck!

Think you have what it takes to become a member of our Blue Crew team? 

We are looking to recruit passionate, enthusiastic and athletic individuals for the Saskatoon Blades Blue Crew. The Blue Crew will be a combination of the Blades Ice Crew and In-Stand Crew, and must show enthusiasm and excitement in order to represent the Saskatoon Blades and create the best possible experience for our fans.

Mackenzie Morhart
Hometown: Prince Albert, SK
Career/Schooling: Teacher
As a part of the 22-23 Motion Fitness Blue Crew, what are you most looking forward to?: I am looking forward to being back on the ice and meeting new people.
One interesting fact about yourself?: One of my cousins used to play for the Saskatoon Blades!
What’s your favourite place in Blade City and why?: I enjoy going to the Bessborough, especially in the winter to skate with friends.
Holly Abrahamson

Hometown: Meadow Lake, SK
Career/Schooling: Hairstylist
As a part of the 22-23 Motion Fitness Blue Crew, what are you most looking forward to?: Year full of wins.
One interesting fact about yourself?: Only like cookie dough ice cream
What’s your favourite place in Blade City and why?: Sasktel Centre because of hockey, lacrosse, and concerts.

Career/Schooling: U of S, Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology/Bachelor of Education
As a part of the 22-23 Motion Fitness Blue Crew, what are you most looking forward to?: Getting to know the girls and seeing the Indigenous kids/families come out to watch WHL hockey!
One interesting fact about yourself?: I love to travel and go white water rafting!
What’s your favourite place in Blade City and why?: The Meewasin Trails

Career/Schooling: Support Worker, Saskatchewan Health Region
As a part of the 22-23 Motion Fitness Blue Crew, what are you most looking forward to?: I am most looking forward to be back in the rink and having fun interacting with the crowd.
One interesting fact about yourself?: My favourite thing to do is shopping!
What’s your favourite place in Blade City and why?: Taking walks along the river because of the beautiful views

One interesting fact about yourself?: I have touched the Stanley Cup twice!
What’s your favourite place in Blade City and why?: Sasktel Centre because I love the game of hockey.

As a part of the 22-23 Motion Fitness Blue Crew, what are you most looking forward to?: Being back in the arena where we are all able to share our love for the sport of hockey.
One interesting fact about yourself?: I travelled between five different countries this year.
What’s your favourite place in Blade City and why?: Broadway because it shows the character of the city

As a part of the 22-23 Motion Fitness Blue Crew, what are you most looking forward to?: Meeting the other members of the Blue Crew and helping out on game day!
One interesting fact about yourself?: I adopted a bunny during the pandemic and her name is Blue!
What’s your favourite place in Blade City and why?: Downtown YXE because there are so many unique restaurants, hotels, and small businesses to explore.

Career/Schooling: U of S, Animal Bioscience
As a part of the 22-23 Motion Fitness Blue Crew, what are you most looking forward to?: Getting back on the ice, and getting to know the rest of the Blue Crew.
One interesting fact about yourself?: I compete in competitive dog sports with my Golden Retriever Vinny.
What’s your favourite place in Blade City and why?: My favourite place in Blade City is downtown by the river. I love being able to take my dog for walks down there.
