Nutrien Face-off for Hunger Initiative
This season, Blades’ Captain Chase Wouters is raising money for the Saskatoon Food Bank & Learning Centre by simply playing hockey.
How, you ask?
Through the Nutrien Face-off for Hunger Initiative.
With this partnership, Nutrien will donate $10 to the Saskatoon Food Bank & Learning Centre for every face-off win Wouters has this season, helping invest in the Saskatoon community and provide additional food security for those in need.
As of March 7th, Chase Wouters has won 818 face-offs. That’s $8180 to be donated to the Saskatoon Food Bank & Learning Centre from Nutrien.
As the season goes on, Wouters will win more face-offs before the regular season ends, which is when the final figure of money raised will be calculated.
Back Chase Wouters to $10,000!
Chase wants to hit $10,000 donated to the Saskatoon Food Bank & Learning Centre by the end of the regular season and has committed to donating $1 extra per face-off win out of his own pocket.
He challenges all fans and friends of the Blades to match his pledge of $1 per face-off for 2019-20’s final 21 games.
